Edit: since the contest is now over, I took down the huuuuge version and replaced it with a smaller one for easy viewing ^^

Omedetto again to the contest winners!

This is my entry for the Okami Contest. I never played the game before so I really wanted to win the Wii and a copy of the game! XD

The art work is about the sun goddess Amaterasu restoring the peace and harmony of nature's elements. The main inspiration for this piece came from the special effects in the game when Amaterasu steps/runs on the ground. ^_^

although, i think it would make sense to add some flowers sprouting fromt he ground underneath his front paws too, to show he's doing it.
